Assistant Manager Operations (Wildlife Hazard Management)

As an Executive - Wildlife Hazard Management at Adani Airports Holding Limited, your role involves supporting the effective implementation of the wildlife hazard program at the airport. You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the execution of wildlife management strategies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and enhance operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating wildlife hazard management activities by overseeing the implementation of deterrence measures and habitat modifications. You will work closely with various teams to ensure these activities are carried out effectively and documented appropriately. Monitoring wildlife activity, reporting sightings, and assisting in conducting wildlife risk assessments are also crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in implementing and monitoring wildlife deterrence measures to prevent risks to airport operations. Ensuring compliance with wildlife management regulations, preparing documentation, and supporting wildlife management training programs for airport staff are essential components of your job. Key stakeholders you will collaborate with include the Lead of Wildlife Hazard Management, Operations Team, Ground Staff, Maintenance Personnel, Security Team, Human Resources, Training Department, and External stakeholders such as Regulatory Agencies, Airport Authorities, Contractors, and Service Providers. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field with knowledge of safety management principles. A background in wildlife management or environmental science with 3-4 years of experience is required, especially in hazard assessment and control measures. Possession of certifications such as DGCA Wildlife Hazard Management Training and Bird and Wildlife Strike Hazard Management Certification would be advantageous for this position.,
