Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Study and analysis of component, 3D models, GD&T received from R& D /Suppliers & preparation of conceptual fixture /tools layouts for machining parts.
Planning, design & procurement of Fixture, Tools & Gauges as per machining cells for New components as wells as upgradations in existing components.
Preparation & release of various IATF documents like SOP, Control Plan, Process flow chart, PFMEA.
Preparation & releases of semi finish drawings of 5C components as per requirements/strategy.
Preparation of shop/cell layout for various improvement projects like of capacity expansion, reduction in material handling, fatigue reduction & improvement of ergonomics.
Continual improvements like machining cycle time optimization, process evaluation for capacity & productivity enhancement, quality improvement projects to achieve process capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Should have hands on experiece of operating VMC & HMC's, for 5 C components like Crank Case, Cylinder Head machining.
Well versed with Auto Cad, Pro E.
Strong experience in machining shop
Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, cutting parameters, clamping/fixturing principles
