Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Study and analysis of component / assembly drawings, 3D models, GD&T received from R& D /Suppliers & preparation of conceptual fixture /tools layouts for machining as well as assembly parts.
Preparation & release of various QMS documents like SOP, Control Plan, Process flow chart, PFMEA.
Design of Position Gauges (conceptually) required for Assembly /machining parts on Auto cad/Pro E as per process requirement.
Preparation & releases of semi finish drawings of 5C components as per requirements/strategy.
Preparation of shop/cell layout for various improvement projects like of capacity expansion, reduction in material handling, fatigue reduction & improvement of ergonomics.

Preferred candidate profile

Should have knowledge of various machining processes on VMC & HMC's, knowledge of Assembly processes. Knowledge of Auto cad, 3D modeling on Pro E.
Well versed with Auto Cad, Pro E.
Strong experience in process/fixture design and machining shop & assembly.
Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, cutting parameters, clamping/fixturing principles
