Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - Logistics and Transport at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing inbound and outbound truck placement at Units/Depots. Your responsibilities will include working with LSP to ensure correct and timely submission of freight claims, resolving freight bill issues with cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and monitoring logistic key performance indicators. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and delve into Logistics Analytics for data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Manage inbound and outbound truck placement at Units/Depots - Ensure correct and timely submission of freight claims with LSP - Resolve freight bill issues with cross-functional teams - Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance against service levels - Monitor logistic key performance indicators - Work on continuous improvement projects for efficiency - Utilize Logistics Analytics for data-driven decision-making To excel in this role, you are required to be proficient in using SAP, Transport Management System or similar logistic systems, Advance Excel, Word, and Power BI. You should have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, possess strong analytical skills, interpret data for decision-making, and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all work aspects.
