Job Description Logistics management- Organize and Notify delivery of Raw materials, Packing materials through Internalmilk run. Collection of empties from production shop. MIS reporting on performance.Store management- Storage of all direct materials as per standards (safe and secure storage). Report and act on Blocked stocks- --Decanting as per the production requirement People management: Train and Supervise logistics operations compliant with internal procedures and work instructions, Central directives for Operations. Escalation management: Supervise and escalate physical logistics (Internal Milk Run ) and material delivery topics to leadership team (As per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention delivery of materials.

Experience in logistic operations for domestic procurement, dispatches, import & export, material Management, Supply Chain Management, Cost Control, Purchase Order, Supplier Negotiation, Shipping Line, Freight Forwarding, Custom Clearance, Transport Management, Vendor Management, SAP

Involves developing business development strategies, new business opportunities, strong relationships with clients. Ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field with 3-10 years experience Required Candidate profile Must know sales/marketing of freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee marketplace logistics operations, including order fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and vendor Management. Collaborate with marketplace partners, courier teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely order processing and delivery. Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, RTO rates, order accuracy, and develop strategies to improve them. Resolve operational challenges related to delivery delays, customer escalations, and vendor performance. Partner with courier services to optimize delivery routes, SLAs, and cost efficiencies. Analyze data to provide actionable insights, generate operational reports, and present recommendations for improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in logistics operations.

Role & responsibilities 1. Raising Order on Suppliers on receipt of Purchase Order from the buyers 2. Raising Indent on the buyers on receipt of Proforma Invoice from the supplier. Follow up with buyers for duly signed Indent & Proforma Invoice for processing the orders. 3. In case of L/C payment terms Following up with the buyers for L/C draft. Scrutinising each & every L/C draft for error free transmission of L/C to avoid amendment charges. 4. Sometimes buyers issues L/Cs directly without approval then check the L/C and get the amendments done (if required) from the buyer immediately to ensure timely shipment. 5. Similarly raising orders on Supplier on receipt of approval from Management. 6. Preparing L/C Annexure, checking L/C Application filled by Accounts team and approving L/C draft on receipt of same from bank. Follow up with the bank for transmission of L/C. 7. Follow-up with suppliers for Ex-Plant details / Shipment schedules and updating the same to the buyers. 8. Once the shipment is effected – Following up with the supplier for N/N docs (Checking N/N docs for error free documentation and requesting supplier for corrections in the docs, if required) & courier details etc. and the same is updated to the buyer. 9. Monitoring day to day activities related to buyer & supplier and resolving issues for smooth clearance of shipments. 10. Co-ordination with the shipping lines & buyer’s CHA for clearance, free detention period issues and any other issues such as container imbalance charges. 11. Maintaining record of all orders placed on suppliers. 12. Preparing Commission statements on monthly basis. 13. Raising Commission Notes on Suppliers on quarterly basis and following up for commission. 14. Maintaining Credit Notes record and following up with the Supplier for the payment. 15.
