Job Description

Role & responsibilities Daily Dispatch Execution: Ensure smooth dispatch of approx. 1000 MT of material daily with zero errors and maximum efficiency. Productivity Monitoring: Track and analyze daily dispatch productivity; implement measures for continuous improvement in operational output. Labour & Driver Management: Build strong working relationships with laborers to maintain morale and performance. Handle daily driver coordination including vehicle readiness, documentation, route briefings, and performance feedback. Customer & Sales Coordination: Maintain excellent communication with customers and sales teams to prioritize urgent dispatches. Resolve concerns or escalations swiftly and professionally. Dispatch Prioritization: Prioritize dispatch loads based on urgency, customer requirement, material availability, and resource constraints. Advanced Excel Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily/weekly dispatch reports, dashboards, cost sheets, and productivity trackers using advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboarding, etc.) Email Communication: Handle daily email communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding dispatch plans, delivery updates, and issue resolution. Cost Control & Optimization: Monitor and manage dispatch costs, vehicle utilization, and loading efficiency to reduce overall operational expenses. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate dispatch procedures and implement best practices to streamline operations. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of dispatches, adherence to safety and legal regulations, and timely submission of Proof of Deliveries (PODs). Preferred candidate profile Having 5-7 years of experience. Strong leadership and team handling ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical thinking with a problem-solving approach. High attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines. Knowledge of TMS.
