Assistant Manager (Internal Auditor)

As an Assistant Manager in the Finance & Accounts department at Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd., your role involves planning and executing internal audits according to the audit plan. You will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes within the organization. Your key responsibilities include: - Preparing and presenting reports that accurately reflect audit results and document the proposed process - Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk and proposing improvements - Interpreting and analyzing data to identify potential audit issues - Providing recommendations and guidance on how to address control weaknesses and process inefficiencies - Following up on the progress of management's improvement actions - Maintaining open communication with management and audit committee - Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing thorough audits - Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of internal auditing standards, accounting principles, and risk management practices. Analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail is crucial, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and audit tools/software is preferred, as well as the ability to coordinate closely with HODs for audit inputs.
