 Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - SME 
 Job Purpose 
The Legal Officer for Debt Management Services will be responsible for managing legal activities concerning the recovery of urban Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and vehicle loans (Wheels segment).  Culture Anchor

  •  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines. Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
  • Travel with Recovery Officers as required.
  • Timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficient in Excel for daily tracking of team performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.
  • Legal recovery for Urban NPL and Wheels (Vehicle Finance) repo and legal management.
  • Litigation case management.
  • Compliance risk mitigation.
  • Reporting documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experience in achieving collection targets by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Ability to monitor performance against set parameters, provide updates, and offer proper guidelines.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance during product repossession.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience in timely case allocation to team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel for daily performance tracking.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Strong escalation handling and issue resolution skills.
  • Experience in managing Daily Risk Reports (DRR).
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Skilled in counseling and grooming team members.
  • Experience managing a team of collection officers to meet targets.
  • Problem-solving skills during the collection process.
  • Experience with average collection reporting and performance improvement.
  • Experience in legal recovery for urban NPL and vehicle finance (repo and legal management).
  • Litigation and case management experience.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk mitigation practices.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
