Job Description

Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - SME
Job Purpose
To achieve Debt Management Services targets of the respective branch assigned, ensuring meeting PI targets. Continuously monitor Debt Management Services agencies and in-house collectors to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections targets by visiting customers and agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Case-to-case tracking and resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management.

Debt collection strategy development and execution.

Achievement of assigned targets.

Ensure regulatory compliance in all collection activities.

Reporting and analysis of collection metrics.

Risk management.

Team leadership and guidance.

Vendor management.

Coordination with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in debt management services or collections, preferably within the SME segment.

Strong understanding of legal guidelines related to debt collection and repossession.

Ability to monitor and manage agency and in-house collector performance.

Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated leadership and vendor management skills.

Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively.
