Job Purpose:
The Job purpose of Shift Incharge - PECVD in cell maintenance is to manage and optimize the PECVD production cluster, overseeing operations, coordinating schedules, and driving improvements in productivity, quality, and safety across multiple units.
Responsibilities
Specialization in PECVD:
- Provide expert management of PECVD processes, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment for solar cell production.
Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of PECVD machines. Ensure adherence to maintenance protocols and best practices.
Breakdown Management
- Lead the response to major equipment breakdowns, coordinating quick and effective repairs to minimize production disruption. Analyze breakdowns to prevent future occurrences.
RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of equipment failures and process issues. Implement corrective actions based on findings to improve machine reliability and performance.
Spare Parts Planning
- Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements. Collaborate with shift engineers and spare part manager to align inventory levels with operational needs.
Machine Uptime
- Focus on maximizing machine uptime by overseeing effective maintenance practices, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring that PECVD equipment operates at peak efficiency.
Specialized Tools Knowledge
- Utilize advanced tools and software for monitoring and maintaining PECVD equipment. Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in PECVD processes.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the PECVD maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation and professional development.
Compliance And Safety
- Ensure all PECVD operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications in PECVD operations for consistent solar cell performance.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
- 8-12 Years of managerial experience in PECVD operations, overseeing process development, optimization, and strategic planning within solar manufacturing.
