Assistant Manager-Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Rockwell and Siemens PLC/SCADA & HMI systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to ensure efficient and compliant production processes. Key Responsibilities: Automation Projects Design, program, and test automation systems using Rockwell and Siemens PLC/SCADA/DCS & HMI. Integrate automation systems with existing manufacturing equipment for i.e. Fermenter, Centrifuges, Chromatography columns, Autoclaves, DHS, Lyophilizer, Utility equipments ( Compressor, Chiller, Boiler, CSRO,HSRO,PUWG,PSG,WFIG, AHU’s, EMS system. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP and 21 CFR part 11 guidelines. Develop and maintain system documentation and provide training to staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes. Attend the preventive & breakdown maintenance of Rockwell and Siemens PLC/SCADA/DCS & HMI. Maintain the SCADA/DCS & HMI system application and database backup regularly. SCADA/DCS/HMI & PLC systems qualification & validation as per life cycle management requirements. Automation Systems like PLC/SCADA/DCS/HMI & I/O modules spare management & procurement. Being part of Project team involvement for Equipment’s URS/DQ/SAT/FAT/IQ/OQ & PQ.
