Assistant Manager- Applications, Healthcare (Microscopy)

As a Technical Support Specialist at Nikon India Pvt. Ltd in Gurgaon, your role involves providing technical support and training on laser-based microscopy products both remotely and in person. You will play a crucial part in ensuring high customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely manner and participating in technical discussions alongside the sales team. Your responsibilities will also include supporting installations, upgrading systems in the field, and representing the company at conferences and workshops through technical lectures and support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and training on laser-based microscopy products via telephone, online, and in person. - Ensure timely resolution of customer issues to maintain a high level of satisfaction. - Collaborate with the sales team in technical discussions. - Support installations and system upgrades in the field. - Represent the company at conferences and workshops by delivering technical lectures and providing support. - Gather application information from customers/researchers and provide detailed feedback to the product management and engineering team. Qualifications Required: - Preferably Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biophotonics, Biophysics, or Physics. - 4-5 years of work experience in a related field. - In-depth knowledge of light microscopy, digital imaging, fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, and nonlinear microscopy. - Familiarity with biomedical imaging protocols used in advanced research. - Understanding of optical principles, including lenses, filters, mirrors, fiber optics, and lasers (CW and Ultrafast). - Experience in sample preparation, handling live cell & animal imaging, and providing technical support on advanced imaging equipment. - Strong analytical, presentation, written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
