Job Title: Assistant Manager Accounts

Industry: Real Estate / Property Development

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts to join our finance team in Bangalore. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions, audits, and financial reporting for real estate transactions. The role requires strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and real estate industry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, general ledger, and reconciliation of accounts.

  • Handle real estate transaction accounting related to property sales, lease income, project expenses, and commission settlements.

  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure smooth conduct of internal, statutory, and tax audits.

  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

  • Manage project-wise costing, budgeting, and financial tracking for ongoing developments.

  • Prepare and monitor cash flow statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for financial operations.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and financial efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.

  • Strong understanding of real estate transaction accounting, revenue recognition, and project cost allocation.

  • Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP, MS Excel, and other accounting systems.

  • Sound knowledge of auditing procedures, taxation laws, and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with integrity and attention to detail.
