Assistant Manager- Accounting

Role Overview: As a member of the ICARE Competence Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of intragroup financial information within the Finance EMEA scope. Your primary focus will be on intragroup declaration and its impacts on the BNPP consolidation process, in alignment with Group accounting policies and norms. You will be expected to be an expert on products and their accounting schemes, leading the reconciliation intercompany process with meticulous follow-up and documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for timely and accurate closing of financial reporting in accordance with Group standards and guidelines, supported by a robust control framework. Effective communication with stakeholders regarding topics affecting the intercompany reconciliation process will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Reconcile intragroup gaps on a quarterly basis, with a view to transitioning to a more frequent day-to-day approach - Conduct Intercompany reconciliation within Group thresholds, including analysis of breaks, root cause investigation, and resolution reporting to Accounting teams - Maintain transparent and timely communication with all stakeholders - Meet deadlines for both intercompany reconciliation and contributions to local Transfer Pricing (TP) files - Address and resolve any outstanding breaks from one period to another - Focus on improving data quality by implementing source corrections Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and Group accounting standards - Experience in intercompany reconciliation and financial analysis - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Detail-oriented approach with a focus on data quality improvement (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
