Assistant Manager- Accountant

We are a cloud-based accounting firm providing accounting, tax, advisory, and outsourcing services. We are seeking a full-time office-based Assistant Manager- Accountant. The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be: Working with the Manager and being the first point of call for work and associated questionsManage independently a portfolio of clientsManaging the year-end accounts process, including preparation for pre-year-end meetings, plus reviewing and finalising accountsPersonal and corporate tax returns and relevant advisePrepare and review VAT returnsCompany secretarial mattersUse the word "Do It Now" in your cover letter. The Successful Applicant:The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a BPO accountancy environment as well as:Excellent written and spoken English skillsA positive attitude, who loves working as part of a team2 years of previous experience in a BPO industry or working with UK/ USA clients is MUSTCA / ACCA qualified/ part qualified or MBA FinanceStrong project management skillsExcellent customer service skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport quicklyStrong team playerExperience in working with Xero, QuickBooks and other cloud-based accounting software preferred Working hours and perks:Office-based roleWorking hours: UK shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 17:00 hrs UK time, with an hour of break, and Saturday, 9:00 - 15:00 hrs UK time, with half an hour of meal break.Benefits:Paid sick timePaid time off SERIOUS CANDIDATES WHO MEET ALL OF THE REQUIRED CRITERIA ARE REQUESTED TO APPLY.Because of the high number of applications we received, we will contact successful candidates only.
