Assistant jewellery Design Head

Role Overview: In this role as an Assistant Design Head at C. Krishniah Chetty Group, you will support the Head Designer in delivering innovative and market-driven jewellery collections. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Assist in Creative Leadership & Strategy: - Support in creating innovative jewellery collections aligned with market trends. - Define and maintain brand aesthetics and design philosophy. - Collaborate with marketing, inventory, and sales teams to meet business goals. - Design Development & Trend Research: - Research global jewellery trends, materials, and consumer preferences. - Conceptualize and develop new collections in line with CKC's ethos. - Collaborate with vendors and artisans to bring design concepts to life. - Technical & Creative Oversight: - Manage product development, prototyping, and quality control. - Guide the team in utilizing advanced design software. - Ensure all designs are well-catalogued and easily accessible. - Collaboration & Process Optimization: - Coordinate with showrooms, inventory teams, and marketing for seamless product rollouts. - Develop efficient workflows and approval processes. - Assist in budgeting and cost-efficient design strategies. - Visual Merchandising & Branding: - Align store displays and marketing collaterals with CKC design vision. - Work on electronic catalogues and digital showcases for enhanced customer engagement. - Provide creative inputs for branding, advertising, and promotional materials. - Team Development & Training: - Mentor and train junior designers and interns. - Conduct training sessions for sales teams on design concepts. - Maintain team productivity and time management. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in jewellery design, creative leadership, or product development. - Proficiency in design software. - Awareness of global jewellery trends. - Creativity, leadership, and excellent communication skills are essential.
