Assistant - Inventory Incharge

The role of Assistant - Inventory Incharge based in Rudrapur/Pantnagar involves the responsibility of organizing the warehouse inventory efficiently, maximizing space utilization, and overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be tasked with managing inventory data, tracking levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams is essential for optimizing inventory processes and ensuring seamless coordination in the supply chain. Your role will include investigating and resolving discrepancies in inventory data, implementing corrective actions, and generating regular reports on inventory levels, trends, and variances. Providing insights to management for strategic decision-making will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Proficiency in inventory management systems, particularly SAP, and other relevant tools is necessary. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, a minimum Bachelor's Degree (education in logistics or 3PL field is advantageous), familiarity with warehouse management systems, and strong supervisory skills. Anticipating and resolving problems, attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and effective communication are essential qualities for this position.
