Assistant I - Lab Support

Role Overview: You will be acting under continuous guidance and support, handling day-to-day transactions in a semiconductor product development lab. Your role includes assisting in lab audits, inventory handling, performing low complexity rework, board setup, basic lab setup, and ensuring smooth operations of lab inventory. Adherence to safety guidelines and practice of FAST Goals are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in all lab audits (internal and external) to ensure process compliance - Handle lab Inventory to enable day-to-day transactions - Perform low complexity SMD level rework - Perform low complexity board setup - Assist in basic lab setup including host and network - Enable lab item transfer for smooth operation - Ensure smooth operations of lab inventory day-to-day transactions - Adhere to safety guidelines of lab (Chemical Electrical Fire and General Safety Guidelines) - Practice FAST Goals; seek and accept feedback - Support information governance activities and audit preparations - Set up basic lab for host and network configuration - Create documentation for your work - Enable day-to-day transactions in inventory management - Count materials and equipment in stock, updating documents - Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer/data records - Contribute to lab-related documents in SharePoint and client universities - Report status of assigned tasks - Ensure compliance with lab-related reporting standards and processes Qualification Required: - Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics background - Proficiency in soldering - Ability to work in team environments with good communication skills - Basic understanding of hardware including desktops, handheld computers, motherboards, and peripherals About the Company: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients from design to operation, embedding innovation and agility into organizations.
