Assistant Fashion Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and highly creative Fashion Designer specializing in Bridal and Wedding Wear to join our couture design team. You will be responsible for designing luxurious, elegant, and culturally relevant bridal outfits that cater to both traditional and contemporary tastes. This role involves deep understanding of bridal trends, fabrics, embellishments, and craftsmanship to create stunning pieces for the most special occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research global and regional bridal fashion trends, fabrics, embroidery techniques, and cultural preferences.
• Design and develop original bridal wear concepts including lehengas, sarees, gowns, sherwanis, and coordinated wedding outfits.
• Create detailed mood boards, fabric swatches, and technical sketches for each bridal collection.
• Work closely with artisans, embroiderers, and tailoring units to bring couture-level designs to life.
• Collaborate with clients for custom bridal designs, offering style consultation and bespoke design services.
• Ensure designs align with the brand’s aesthetic, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Attend fittings and oversee alterations to ensure perfect fit and finish.
• Manage design timelines to meet production and delivery deadlines, especially during peak wedding seasons.
• Stay updated on wedding fashion events, bridal weeks, and industry innovations.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to showcase collections through photoshoots, exhibitions, or bridal shows.

Requirements:

• Local candidate preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (specialization in Bridal or Ethnic wear is a plus).
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW.
• Minimum 6 month of experience of Designing
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to manage custom orders and work under tight timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
