Job Description

As an Assistant Faculty Medical Lab Technology (MLT) at Physics Wallah (PW) in the School of Healthcare (SOH), your role will involve teaching and training students enrolled in the Medical Lab Technology program. You will be responsible for delivering theoretical lectures, conducting practical sessions, and guiding students in laboratory work to help them establish strong clinical and academic foundations for their careers as Medical Lab Technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop content for MLT subjects aligned with the university curriculum under the guidance of the Head of Academics. - Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical demonstrations in areas such as Microbiology, Pathology, Routine & Special Lab Techniques, Histology, Serology, and Infection Control. - Design and conduct assessments including quizzes, written exams, and practical evaluations. - Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students to support their professional growth. - Stay updated with advancements in medical laboratory science and integrate them into teaching practices. - Collaborate with the Academic Director, Program Manager, and faculty peers to enhance curriculum quality and delivery. - Maintain student records including attendance, assessments, and performance reports. - Assist in the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment, reagents, and other supplies. - Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and community outreach initiatives. - Support Domain Faculty in effectively executing academic responsibilities. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or a related field. - Minimum 12 years of clinical experience and 23 years of teaching experience in an MLT or related program. - In-depth understanding of medical lab operations, quality control practices, and diagnostic procedures. - Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment (automatic, semi-automatic, and manual), troubleshooting, and use of lab software/information systems. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, and student assessment.,
