Assistant Faculty Medical Lab Technology (MLT)

As an Assistant Faculty in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) at Physics Wallah (PW), located in Patna, Pune, Lucknow, and Indore, you will be an integral part of the School of Healthcare (SOH) team. Your primary responsibility will be to teach and train students enrolled in the MLT program. This role will involve delivering theoretical lectures, conducting practical sessions, and guiding students in laboratory work to help them establish a solid foundation for their future careers as Medical Lab Technicians. You will work under the guidance of the Head of Academics to develop content for MLT subjects in alignment with the university curriculum. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures and practical demonstrations in areas such as Microbiology, Pathology, Routine & Special Lab Techniques, Histology, Serology, and Infection Control. Designing and administering assessments, providing academic guidance to students, and staying updated with advancements in medical laboratory science will also be key aspects of your role. Collaboration with the Academic Director, Program Manager, and fellow faculty members will be essential to enhance curriculum quality and delivery. Maintaining student records, assisting in procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and actively participating in departmental meetings and community outreach initiatives are also part of your responsibilities. Supporting Domain Faculty in executing academic responsibilities effectively will further contribute to the overall success of the program. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 12 years of clinical experience and 2-3 years of teaching experience in an MLT or related program is required. In-depth knowledge of medical lab operations, proficiency in operating laboratory equipment, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in curriculum development and student assessment are also essential qualifications for this position.,
