Assistant Engineer Geotechnical

Role Overview: As a Geotechnical Engineer at Ramboll, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in both Indian and International geotechnical standards to design foundations, analyze soil-structure interaction, conduct slope stability assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve geotechnical investigations, interpreting data, designing foundations, performing analyses, proposing ground improvement techniques, and preparing technical reports. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's in Geotechnical/Soil Mechanics/Foundation Engineering preferred. - 2-4 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering. - Good knowledge of Indian and international standards. - Strong fundamentals of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability. - Hands-on experience with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, LPILE, SLOPE/W. - Ability to perform numerical analysis/finite element modeling. - Proficiency in lab and field testing methods and their interpretation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Good communication skills to interface with clients, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams. - Time management skills to work on multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
