Job Requirements Preparation, procurement, Interpretation, and analysis of measured and hindcast metocean data sets. Plan, manage, and contribute to metocean reports, data accusation, design basis documents, and site conditions assessments where appropriate. Collaborate effectively with the central metocean team to drive forwards best practices in modelling and measurement of metocean criteria and implement these advancements in real projects. Liaise with external regulatory and standards bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards is achieved. Support metocean and floating LiDAR measurement campaigns, working closely with measurement team, contractors and internal stakeholders to optimise data collection and analysis. Contribute to the development of technical specifications for metocean equipment and services, including evaluation of bids and recommendations for contract award. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Work Experience 10 + years experience in a similar role. Experience in the application of numerical models including in one (or more) of the following: CFD, atmospheric, waves or ocean circulation . An in-depth knowledge of instrument limitations and configurations for measuring wind, wave and current. Naturally inquisitive, with a desire for a fundamental understanding of metocean processes. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present analysis and conclusions clearly to senior management. Strong ability to collaborate within multifunctional teams, ensuring effective delivery of project objectives. Excellent coding skills, ideally in Python and / or MATLAB Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal). Ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work independently and stay motivated without direct supervision. High self-motivation, initiative, and self-reliance. A degree in oceanography, meteorology, or engineering - or a closely aligned discipline.

Proficient in utilizing CFD modelling software packages, with a strong preference for expertise in ANSYS Fluent. Mandatory Hands on experience on ANSYS Fluent, Spaceclaim, MS-office tools Good to Have STAR CCM+, OpenFoam, Python Thorough knowledge of numerical modelling and methodologies, encompassing turbulence modelling, multi-phase flow, and non-Newtonian fluids. Hands-on experience in post-processing techniques, including particle tracking and movie clip creation, to extract meaningful insights from simulation results. Proven track record in executing unsteady (transient) simulations to capture dynamic fluid behaviour. Familiarity with 3D CAD packages such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD, enabling seamless integration with CFD workflows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
