Job Description

Role Overview: Assist in leading the property's segmented sales effort and implementation of segment sales strategy to achieve revenue goals, guest and employee satisfaction. Focus on building long-term customer relationships and achieving sales objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Work with sales leader to ensure effective implementation of sales strategy for the segment - Develop and sustain aggressive solicitation program to increase business - Create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and market - Provide leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential and recommend booking goals for sales team members - Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and execute operational aspects of business booked - Analyze market information, implement strategies to achieve financial goals, and review guest satisfaction results for improvement - Display leadership in guest hospitality, interact with guests to obtain feedback, empower employees to provide excellent customer service, and ensure customer recognition program is in effect - Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, collaborate with off-property sales channels, and ensure compliance with regulations - Attend customer events, trade shows, and sales missions to maintain key relationships Qualification Required: - 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related field OR - 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or related field Company Details: Marriott International is dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, valuing and celebrating the unique backgrounds of associates.
