Job Description

The Assistant Company Secretary will be responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. The role involves providing legal guidance to the Board of Directors, managing statutory filings, maintaining corporate records, and supporting board meetings and other regulatory communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and other laws.
  • Organize Board, AGM, and EGM meetings; draft notices, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintain statutory registers and file necessary ROC returns.
  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel.
  • Implement corporate governance and risk management practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CS (ICSI); LLB preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate laws, compliance, and legal drafting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
