Assistant Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting finance and accounts operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your experience in bookkeeping and taxation will be valuable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally or other accounting software - Record journal entries and prepare ledgers with timely bank reconciliations - Prepare and file GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliances - Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all documentation is in order - Maintain organized records of bills, vouchers, and all financial documents - Generate periodic MIS reports and assist senior accountants in financial analysis - Handle and reconcile petty cash transactions - Support budgeting, costing, and inventory-related accounting tasks Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles - Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and strong understanding of accounting standards - Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory requirements - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills - Excellent communication and team coordination abilities Additional Company Details: The company offers full-time and permanent job positions.
