Assistant Accountant

As an Accountant with 23 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical sector, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime. Your role will involve preparing and filing GST Returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, handling TDS calculation and return filing, as well as generating and managing e-Way bills for goods movement related to sales and purchases. In this position, you will be expected to reconcile bank statements, customer/vendor ledgers, and inter-company transactions. Additionally, you will collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, while also maintaining documentation and records for all financial transactions. Your assistance will be required in preparing financial reports and MIS as necessary. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Com / M.Com or related qualification. Proficiency in Tally Prime is a must, along with a good understanding of GST and TDS compliance and return filing. Experience in e-Way bill generation and a strong grasp of accounting principles are also essential. Soft skills such as attention to detail, effective communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines and multitask will be advantageous. This is a Full-Time position with a Day shift schedule, based in Udhna, Surat.
