In this role as the Asset Servicing EMEA Income Senior Manager at Citigroup, you will be accountable for managing complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas. Your responsibilities will include leading and directing a team of professionals, requiring a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. Your strong commercial awareness will be essential. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions. Excellent communication skills will be necessary for negotiating internally, often at a senior level, as well as for external communication. You will be accountable for the end results of your area, exercising control over resources, policy formulation, and planning. Your role will primarily affect a sub-function, and you will be involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for your own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams will be under your purview, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval. **Responsibilities:** - Manage multiple EMEA Income teams within the functional area. - Focus on day-to-day operational execution while contributing to strategic planning within your area of expertise. - Revise communications, notifications, and facilitate postings for Corporate Action/Income events. - Manage regional alignment, develop organizational strategies, and build credibility and trust with regional partners and management. - Handle multiple high-priority visible projects, manage vendor relationships, and allocate necessary resources effectively. - Support a wide range of internal clients (product, sales, client delivery, and technology) and external corporate clients. - Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how your area integrates within the overall function to achieve objectives. - Create budget, manage distribution and exceptions. - Present, analyze, and validate data to develop value-added solutions to increase productivity and efficiencies. - Execute all other duties as assigned. - Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. **Qualifications:** - 15+ years of experience. - Extensive knowledge of Custody operations & broad understanding of opportunities within Financial Services. - Senior to advanced-level experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management. - Ability to demonstrate and apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures. - Strong and influential communication skills with a senior-level audience (internally/externally). **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred.
