As a Senior Designer in Pipeline, you will need to have a minimum of 8-14 years of relevant experience in Pipeline projects. Your responsibilities will include handling Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and engineering of cross country pipelines in compliance with ASME B13.4 and ASME B31.8 standards. You will also work on piping systems in Process piping for Refineries & Chemical industries following ASME B31.3 guidelines. Your key tasks will involve developing Pipeline Alignment sheets and Route Maps based on Survey Data. This includes creating Alignment Sheets, Typical drawings, and detailing road/river/existing pipeline/existing cable crossing information. You will also be responsible for the preparation of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) drawings, Pipeline Overall Route maps, Overall Field Layouts, and Topographical Survey Drawings. In addition, you will coordinate Pipeline/Station Surveys, collaborate with survey teams, and prepare Piping Plot plans, Piping General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), Piping Isometric drawings, and Piping Equipment Layout Drawings. Your role will also encompass creating various miscellaneous drawings for site activities, interfaces, and construction. Proficiency in generating drawings using AutoCAD, along with experience in pipeline surveying, utilizing tools like Google Earth, Satellite images, GPS, and Co-ordinate ARC GIS, will be essential for this role. Strong communication skills are also required to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders. Qualifications for this position include 14-18 years of experience in piping, static, rotary equipment engineering, a minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and preferably a master's degree.
