We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Research and Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in the fields of AI, image processing, and computer vision by designing, implementing, and evaluating cutting-edge algorithms and models. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to get exposure to computer vision and translate research ideas into real-world applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and evaluate image processing algorithms and computer vision models. - Dive deep into the fundamentals of ML, including architectures, loss functions, data evaluation, and model implementation efficiency during both training and deployment. - Report and present research findings and developments, including progress, results, and insights, in a clear and efficient manner to both internal and external stakeholders. - Suggest and participate in team collaborations to achieve ambitious research objectives. - Stay updated with the latest research by reading academic papers and articles and implementing relevant techniques. Team Level Requirements: - Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment. - Strong communication skills to articulate research findings and technical concepts clearly. - A proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions. - Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of the AI and machine learning landscape. Key Skill Set: - Proven track record of publications and relevant experience in areas such as foundational models, ML+ Systems, optimization, learning theory, computer vision, and image processing. - Demonstrated expertise with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch). - Proven experience in training models and applying experimental ideas to practical problems. - Experience working on projects from proof-of-concept through implementation in an industrial setting. - Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to grasp and apply complex concepts quickly. - Genuine enthusiasm for AI, image processing, and computer vision. - Publications in top AI conferences/Journals e.g. NIPS, CVPR, ICLR, TPAMI, ICML, etc. is a plus. Qualification Background: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a Tier 1 institute. - Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in the field.,
