The Role We are looking for exceptional researchers and engineers to pioneer universal autonomous systems, agents that can perceive, reason, plan, and act competently across diverse tasks, embodiments, and real-world environments with minimal task-specific training. What You’ll Do - Push the frontier of generalist autonomy: world models, foundation models for action, lifelong learning, embodiment-agnostic architectures - Design and train large-scale vision-language-action models and generalist policies - Invent new techniques for zero/few-shot adaptation, sim-to-real, and cross-domain transfer - Build end-to-end prototypes on robots (humanoids, manipulators, mobile bases, drones) and vehicles - Create benchmarks and evaluation protocols for true generality - Integrate safety, alignment, and robustness from day one - Publish groundbreaking papers and file patents You Are - PhD (or equivalent research experience) in ML, robotics, or related fields - Track record of high-impact publications in top venues (NeurIPS, ICML, CoRL, RSS, Science Robotics, etc.) - Deep expertise in at least two of: foundation models, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, robot learning, control, planning, sim-to-real - Strong coding skills (Python, PyTorch/JAX) and systems experience - Driven about building real physical intelligence that works everywhere Please apply using: Google Form
