We are seeking a highly skilled in GenAI, LLM, NLP, etc. and motivated Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the development and integration of impactful AI features into our suite of products for first responders. More @ https://www.naukri.com/first-due-overview-8479419 or https://www.firstdue.com/ Responsibilities : Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI Solutions, AI/ML models and algorithms, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and related technologies Champion and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation within the AI team Identify and address performance bottlenecks in AI models and infrastructure to ensure efficient and scalable solutions suitable for time-sensitive operational environments. Requirements : Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development with a strong applied track record. Proficiency in Python and major ML/DL frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face). Proven experience with GenAI / LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases , etc. experience with prompt engineering , RAG , and fine tuning . Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services. Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and evaluation metrics. Experience postproduction support to AI products / applications is a must. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Desired Traits : Prior experience in a lead or senior role mentoring other developers. Creativity and innovative thinking. Attention to detail and precision. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Work mode & Timings : Remote, US time zone, EST, 9 am to 6 pm
