Artificial Intelligence Developer/ Lead AI Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and Machine Learning models for real-world, large-scale product applications
• Build and optimize AI chatbots and AI Agents for conversational, automation, and decision-making use cases
• Lead end-to-end AIML solution development, including data collection, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment
• Collaborate with UX Engineers to integrate AI features into intuitive and seamless user experiences
• Develop scalable AI services and APIs using Python and modern ML frameworks
• Work with structured and unstructured data using SQL and data pipelines
• Optimize and maintain ML models for performance, accuracy, and reliability in production environments
• Implement MLOps best practices including model versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture and AI strategy
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12-18 years of professional experience as an AI Developer / AI Engineer / ML Engineer
• Strong expertise in AI, AIML, and Machine Learning concepts and algorithms
• Hands-on experience building ML models for production-grade systems
• Proven experience developing AI chatbots and AI Agents
• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and data querying
• Experience working in a product-based company environment
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Understanding of system design, APIs, and cloud-based AI deployments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with UX Engineers, product teams, and stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data engineering and MLOps tools
• Prior leadership or technical mentoring experience
