Article Assistant

You will be joining our team as an Article Assistant, where you will receive practical training and hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and other professional accounting practices. Working under the guidance of experienced chartered accountants, you will play a crucial role in supporting our firm's operations and assisting clients in meeting their financial reporting and compliance needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for clients. This involves performing audit procedures, conducting fieldwork, verifying financial transactions, preparing audit documentation, all in compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for clients. It is essential to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and reflect the true financial position and performance of the client's business. In the area of tax compliance and advisory, you will assist in activities such as preparing income tax returns, GST returns, and other tax filings for clients. You will also provide support in tax planning, research tax issues, and help clients understand and comply with tax laws and regulations. Your role will also involve bookkeeping and accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements are crucial in this area. Client communication is another significant aspect of your role, where you will interact with clients to gather information, address queries, and provide assistance when necessary. It is essential to maintain professional communication, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
