Art Curriculum Developer

Role Overview: As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Art Department at Podar Education Network, you will play a key role in shaping the upcoming art curriculum. You will be part of a fast-paced, high-tech team that values creativity and collaboration. Your primary responsibility will be to design and refine lesson plans, assessments, and teaching resources for Grades 1-8. Additionally, you will support teachers through training sessions, contribute to creative projects, gather feedback to improve curriculum, and stay up-to-date with art movements and trends. Key Responsibilities: - Design and refine lesson plans, assessments, and rubrics for Grades 1-8. - Develop engaging teaching resources. - Support teachers through training sessions and ongoing guidance. - Contribute to creative projects like exhibitions, art classroom setups, and annual dynamic modules. - Gather feedback from schools and teachers to enhance curriculum and resources. - Collaborate with the Head of Department and team members on department-wide initiatives. - Research and stay up-to-date with art movements and trends. - Generate innovative concepts for art education lessons. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the subject of Art at a school. - A degree in Fine Arts, Design, Education, or a related field. - Passion for both art and education, with the ability to balance creativity and structure. - Strong communication skills and confidence in conducting training. - Comfort with basic digital tools (Google Suite, MS Office, Canva, etc. advanced design skills are a plus). - A collaborative, enthusiastic team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Additional Details: You will be working full-time from the Head Office at Parel (East), Mumbai, with working hours from 10 am to 5 pm.
