Art Book & Social Media Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented designer to join TERAVARNA. This role combines art book publishing responsibilities with creative social media content design. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and have a strong sense of aesthetics, layout, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Art Book & Publishing
• Design and layout art books, magazines, or similar publications combining images and text.
• Work closely with the editorial and creative team to ensure consistent visual identity across book projects.
• Prepare print-ready files, ensuring high-quality output.
• Manage typography, image placement, and page layouts to maintain a professional finish.
• Maintain version control and update edits efficiently throughout the publishing process.
• Social Media & Design
• Create visually appealing social media posts, stories, and reels in line with TERAVARNAs branding.
• Use Canva (and other tools) to design promotional material, event graphics, and campaign assets.
• Design and generate digital certificates for artists and participants using Canva templates.
• Collaborate with the social media team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.
• Assist with basic video editing and reel creation for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Maintain a cohesive aesthetic across all digital content.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign (mandatory).
• Strong design sense, with attention to typography, layout, and visual balance.
• Proficiency in Canva for quick social media and certificate design.
• Familiarity with image editing (Photoshop/Illustrator preferred).
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and current content trends.
• Ability to multitask between book projects and social media deliverables.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience designing an art book, magazine, or similar publication.
• Background in fine arts, graphic design, or creative publishing.
• Experience in reel/video editing for social media platforms.
• Passion for the arts and contemporary culture.
