Area sales officer (FMCG)

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer to join our FMCG sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing retail and distributor relationships, and achieving assigned targets under the guidance of the Area Sales Manager. Key Responsibilities: ● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory ● Regular visits to market/retail outlets to ensure product availability and visibility ● Ensure proper coverage, visibility, and merchandising of products ● Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists ● Execute sales promotional activities and ensure brand presence in the market ● Collect market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and new launches ● Monitor stock levels at distributors and ensure timely order booking and payment collection ● Submit daily/weekly market activity reports to ASM Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
