Wellesta Services India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead a team of Business Executives/Medical Representatives and drive sales growth for Sanofi (Opella) Consumer Healthcare brands.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented *Area Sales Manager (ASM)* to manage and lead a team of Business Executives/Medical Representatives in the assigned territory.

The ASM will be responsible for driving *prescription generation, primary/secondary sales, channel management, team productivity, doctor engagement, and territory growth* for leading Sanofi (Opella) Consumer Healthcare brands.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare sales, team handling, Rx generation, and distributor/chemist management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and manage a team of Medical Representatives/Business Executives.

- Achieve sales, prescription (Rx) and territory targets.

- Drive doctor coverage, prescription generation and HCP engagement.

- Conduct joint field visits and coach team members on sales performance.

- Manage distributors, stockists, chemists and channel sales.

- Ensure product availability and effective distribution across the territory.

- Track team performance, sales, doctor coverage and market activities.

- Identify new business opportunities and improve territory growth.

- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with company processes.

What Were Looking For

- 1+ year experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare sales.

- Experience as ASM / ABM / First Line Manager will be preferred.

- Team handling experience is preferred.

- Strong experience in Rx generation, doctor engagement and channel/distributor management.

- Good knowledge of the Visakhapatnam market.

- Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills.

- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are mandatory.

- Candidates who can join at short notice will be preferred.
