Job Description

Skills required- FMCG Sales, Food and beverages industry, HORECA, Institutions, MT, Distributions, Channel development, New market development. Additional Preferences: Candidates preferred with exceptional performance track record, at least 7years of respective market experience inclusive of current organisations. Job Descriptions: A. Channel Management • Source and Appointment of Distributors in the respective markets to ensure retail coverage & distribution objectives (GT, HORECA, Modern Trade & Institutions). • Appointing the right set of channel partners with appropriate experience, good infrastructure, financially strong and with an attitude to grow. • To develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team. • Route coverage & Beat designing and regular market operations, market scheming and stock management at all points. • Maintaining appropriate stock levels at retailers, distributor point and Super stockiest. • Build smooth relationship with Distributors/Key account/ HORECA & Institutional account. B. Driving Sales Objective. • Preparing an annual sales budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions. • Initiate, Manage and Develop Sales & Distribution network in the assigned Territory to meet agreed KRA/KPI. • Achieve Primary & Secondary sales objective for GT, MT & HORECA segments. Exclusive sales development for canteen & Institutional segments. C. Competition Analytics and Marketing Activities • Keeping update with, competitions activities, competition product, strategies to counter attack competition in the best possible manner. • Designing and executing of trade schemes, promotions and visibilities as defined for the territory. D. Inventory management • Developing systems for accurate forecasting and ensure follow up with production, logistics, factory unit and Super stockiest. Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stock Control activities. • Ensuring commercial hygiene by monitoring damages, handling customer complaints etc. • Ensure timely collection of receivables and monthly customer reconciliations. E. Team Management • Coaching and developing of team members to ensure their respective target achievement. • Allotting clear responsibilities to team - assigning targets/execution parameters etc. F. Data Management & Reporting • Having analytical mind to interpret sales/execution data and proactively suggest time bound action plans. • To ensure that sales systems and processes are strictly in place and being used effectively.
