Job Summary

SLK Food Specialties Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth and strengthen our market presence across South Kerala.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FMCG sales, distribution management, team handling, dealer/retailer management, and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve assigned sales and business targets.
• Develop and manage a high-performing sales team.
• Plan and execute sales strategies for the assigned territory.
• Strengthen distribution networks and expand market reach.
• Manage and develop relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and product movement.
• Ensure effective product availability and visibility across the assigned market.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Track sales performance and prepare regular sales reports.
• Conduct regular market visits and provide guidance to the sales team.
• Ensure timely achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably with experience in Tamilnadu markets.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience in distribution, dealer/distributor management, and retail sales.
• Strong team leadership and people-management skills.
• Good understanding of the Chennai, Tamilnadu FMCG market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Candidates with experience handling a sales team will be preferred.
