Role Description

The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Junagadh City, responsible for driving sales growth and market development within the assigned territory. The role includes managing dealer and distributor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Parshwa’s products to farmers and channel partners. Day-to-day activities involve visiting dealers and farmers, conducting product demonstrations, gathering market intelligence, and supporting promotional campaigns. The Area Sales Manager will track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement territory strategies. This position also involves providing after-sales support, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in field sales or territory management, ideally within the agriculture or related sectors.
• Ability to build and maintain dealer, distributor, and farmer relationships, with effective stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical product information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven capability in planning, target setting, and performance tracking, with basic proficiency in using digital tools for reporting and data management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Science, Business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area and work in on-ground rural and semi-urban environments.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Local language proficiency and knowledge of the regional agricultural landscape in and around Junagadh City are highly beneficial.
