Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader/Branch Manager in a Microfinance, NBFC, Fintech, or DSA loan business.
• Proven experience in secured/unsecured loan sales, preferably Group Loans or Personal Loans.
• Prior experience managing a team of 7–10 Field Sales Executives and consistently achieving monthly sales targets.
• Graduate in any discipline.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop Field Sales Officers.
• Comfortable with regular field visits, customer meetings, and on-ground coaching.
• Experience in lead generation, login conversion, disbursal, and collection monitoring.
• Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for daily MIS and performance tracking.
• Strong communication skills in Hindi; knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage.

Role Expectations

• Lead and manage 10–15 Field Sales Officers within the assigned territory.
• Drive monthly targets for leads, logins, approvals, and disbursals.
• Conduct regular field audits and accompany FSOs to improve productivity and sales execution.
• Deliver onboarding and refresher training on sales processes, SOPs, and compliance.
• Coordinate with Operations and Credit teams for timely file processing and issue resolution.
• Execute marketing and customer acquisition activities across industrial clusters.
