Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Drive product sales (e.g., faucets, basins, WC, bathtubs, fittings) through dealers, distributors, and project channels.
  • Increase market share by identifying and converting new business opportunities.

2. Dealer & Distributor Management

  • Appoint and manage dealers and distributors in the territory.
  • Ensure strong relationships, proper stock levels, and timely order placements.
  • Conduct regular visits, address grievances, and provide product training.

3. Project & Institutional Sales

  • Identify and engage with architects, builders, contractors, and interior designers.
  • Generate leads and convert them into project sales (e.g., for residential complexes, hotels, commercial buildings).
  • Track and follow up on ongoing and upcoming projects.

4. Team Coordination

  • Manage and guide Sales Executives or Territory Sales Officers (if applicable).
  • Coordinate with internal teams like marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data on competitors, pricing, new product trends, and customer preferences.
  • Provide regular market feedback to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and activities in CRM or Excel.

6. Product Promotion & Branding

  • Conduct product demos, roadshows, plumber meets, and dealer events.
  • Support brand-building initiatives in the assigned region.
  • Ensure visibility of the brand through proper placement of promotional materials (POSM).

7. Collections & Credit Control

  • Ensure timely collections from dealers/distributors.
  • Monitor credit limits and follow up on overdue payments.
