Job Title: Area Manager Life Insurance Vertical: Agency / B2B Location: Mumbai (Thane) Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Manager to lead and grow our Life Insurance business under the Agency and B2B verticals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic partner acquisition, team leadership, and coordination with insurers for seamless policy issuance. This role requires strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of life insurance products, and a proven track record in B2B or agency distribution channels. Key Responsibilities: Drive overall Life Insurance business for the assigned territory, ensuring achievement of sales targets and growth objectives Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential partners for Life Insurance distribution Build and maintain strong relationships with large partners and support them in generating quality leads and converting high-ticket cases Coordinate with the Head Office and insurance companies for quotes, application logins, issuance, training sessions, and other support activities Conduct joint field calls with partners and sales teams to drive business closures Strategize and implement partner and team engagement plans including contests, rewards, and performance incentives Lead and mentor the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance expectations Track and monitor sales performance, lead conversion ratios, and regularly update business dashboards Required Experience & Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Insurance sales, specifically in the B2B or Agency channel Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, underwriting, and operational processes Proven experience in managing teams and large partner networks Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Ability to independently drive lead generation, conversion, and post-sales coordination Additional Requirements: Strong networking and relationship management abilities Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred
