Architectural Intern

As an Architectural Design Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with design drawings and discussing project requirements with your team. Your role will involve organizing files and materials, visiting worksites to ensure smooth progress, and preparing contracts, reports, CAD drawings, and diagrams. Additionally, you will play a key role in generating design development ideas and conducting research on building codes and standards. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop 3D conceptual designs, prepare design mock-ups and color boards, as well as research various building materials, lighting fixtures, and other products. You may also be involved in ordering product samples, attending staff meetings, and performing basic calculations for projects. At times, you may be required to handle administrative tasks, conduct research for the project team, or revise drawings. Strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role, as you may need to work overtime and meet tight deadlines.
