Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking out for dynamic, passionate & hardworking Architectural draftsman with an experience of around a year to two, to work at our Ahmedabad based office. The ideal desirable candidate shall be assigned the following roles and responsibilities:

• Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites.
• Creating conceptual and technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.
• Use CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
• Print CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers.
• Visit construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar.
• Prior experience as an architectural draftsman will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of building design, specifications, and codes.
• Skills in Architectural & Interior Design Drawings
• Review design drawings for accuracy and translate them into construction-ready documents.
• Experience in converting 3D design to 2D drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in CAD & SketchUp software is a must; BIM and other 3D visualization tools is a plus
