Architectural BIM Modeler

As a member of CNS Engineering Service, you will play a crucial role in supporting the BIM Manager & Coordinator in executing BIM projects within the designated sector. Your responsibilities will involve developing various design components using relevant modeling tools, such as libraries, families, catalogues, templates, and models. You will be tasked with creating and updating BIM models based on contract drawings and the most recent information available to ensure accuracy and completeness. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining graphic and non-graphic data embedded in BIM models, as well as producing BIM model deliverables for construction, documentation, and fabrication purposes. You will contribute to the development of BIM models with the appropriate parameters and attributes required for BIM-based quantification and 4D simulation. Additionally, you will assist in configuring the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use and utilize library management tools for building, storing, and managing model libraries efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing packages for submissions, conducting clash tests, and providing support to the BIM coordinator as necessary. Your duties will also include preparing discipline models and content for internal reviews and coordination meetings, collecting and validating data as per Asset Information Models (AIMs) and client-specific requirements, and completing any additional tasks as assigned. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction project modeling and drafting, along with at least 3 years of experience in BIM project implementation. Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Dynamo, etc., is essential, and previous experience working with main contractors and consulting firms is preferred. Familiarity with projects in the GCC region is advantageous, and candidates who can join immediately will be given preference. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required to qualify for this role.
