Architectural Assistant

Role Overview: As an Architect Assistant at Clinicity, your primary responsibility will be to support the architectural team in designing, drafting, and executing modular hospital infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, biomedical engineers, and civil teams to ensure that design solutions meet healthcare compliance, functionality, and aesthetic requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and working plans using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. - Create 2D and 3D models for hospital rooms, departments, and modular structures. - Update and maintain architectural drawing sets based on client or regulatory feedback. - Be involved in site-specific hospital layout planning, zoning, and coordination with MEP, civil, and biomedical teams. - Help in preparing BOQs, material specifications, and area statements for client approvals and compliance with healthcare regulations. - Coordinate site visits for measurements, feasibility reviews, and ensure drawing accuracy. - Track project progress against design milestones and quality benchmarks. - Participate in meetings with senior architects to understand design requirements and prepare mood boards, renders, and sample books. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and preferably Revit. - Good understanding of spatial planning, modular structures, and healthcare design standards. - Strong communication, teamwork, visualization, and presentation abilities. - Basic knowledge of medical equipment dimensions and space requirements. - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a Diploma in Architecture. - Up to 2 years of relevant experience in hospital, healthcare, or modular infrastructure design preferred. - Exposure to healthcare architecture or prefabricated/modular building design is a plus.
