We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Workspace Architect with a solid DevOps orientation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing on-premises and cloud workloads leveraging technologies such as Citrix and Microsoft. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset, focused on operational efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. The Architect will champion DevOps best practices, drive automation, and foster collaboration across development, operations, and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable virtual workspace solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive migrations of on-premises workloads to cloud environments
  • Maintain on-premises Citrix and VMware solutions
  • Develop and oversee automation scripts and tools using Terraform, Ansible, and Python for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
  • Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for image management, application deployment, and infrastructure updates
  • Champion infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to ensure consistency, repeatability, and rapid delivery across environments
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a technology roadmap for virtual workspace solutions, aligning DevOps initiatives, automation, and AI-driven enhancements with business goals
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure to meet performance and cost targets
  • Maintain and update system documentation for all cloud and on-premises environments
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations, coordinating with other departments as necessary
  • Ensure cloud migration projects are completed within planned timelines and budgets
  • This Job is for US Day Time schedule (regular shift worked between the hours of 6am - 6pm CDT)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Proven experience in cloud migration and automation
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions
  • Background in virtual technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing and virtualization software
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Python
  • Proven excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with IT service management principles and frameworks such as ITIL
  • Background in virtual technologies such as Vmware, Omnissa Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Amazon Workspaces, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Ability to design and implement AI-driven features to enhance virtual workspace usability, personalization, and automation
  • Ability to collaborate with product and UX teams to integrate AI-powered user interfaces, chatbots, and intelligent assistants
  • Ability to evaluate and deploy AI/ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automated support within the virtual workspace services
  • Ability to stay current with AI trends in virtual workspace, including generative AI, conversational AI, and user behavior analytics
