Architect – Industrial / Dairy Projects

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architect specializing in industrial and dairy-related projects to plan, design, and execute large-scale dairy plants and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of dairy processing layouts, compliance standards, and industrial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial & dairy plant layouts (milk processing units, cold storage, warehouses, utility blocks).
• Prepare concept designs, working drawings, and execution drawings.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, HVAC, and process engineering teams.
• Ensure designs comply with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and local building norms.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews.
• Optimize layouts for hygiene, workflow efficiency, safety, and scalability.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Manage approvals, documentation, and revisions as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Registered with Council of Architecture (COA) (preferred).
• Specialized experience in industrial / dairy / food processing projects.

Experience Required

• 1-3years of relevant experience in:
• Industrial buildings
• Dairy plants / food processing units
• Cold storage or FMCG facilities
• Proven experience in factory layouts and utility planning.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Office.
• Strong understanding of industrial materials and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of sanitation zoning, cleanroom concepts, and process flow.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with large dairy brands or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows.
• Exposure to international dairy standards.
